Beginning in the fall of 2017, Northwest began a project to recreate its campus map. After seeking a variety of options the decision was made to utilize Campus Bird with its product and CMS to implement a new and interactive map for prospective students, visitors and all users to enjoy.

Main Campus Map
The main component of the project.
The process of creating locations and content for each began after the software was brought online. The team then developed a category system for all the locations. With careful consideration of what is relevant information for this platform, the team created a tool for users that is easy to navigate, easy to learn and easy to quickly find what the user is looking for.

The project also included managing the creation of auxiliary locations that Northwests operates.

Tours
In addition to the new map, the online software was used to create new virtual tours for prospective students to utilize while away from campus.
A variety of tours were created to allow users to see content they are interested in quickly and easily.
Print implementation
The new map was then put to use in a variety of projects including print and way-finding. Generic maps and event-specific options were designed around the new and modern map look.
